After the Baja Ha-Ha, Limelight spends the winter in La Paz, and from December 1 through mid-March she is available for charter.
La Paz is the gateway to the Sea of Cortez, the sea often called the world's aquarium. Just offshore lies Isla Espíritu Santo, a protected national park of red rock cliffs, white sand coves and water in every shade of turquoise.
Drop anchor at Ensenada Grande or Caleta Partida, hike the arroyos, snorkel the reefs, and swim with the playful young sea lions at Los Islotes. In December and January, whale sharks, the largest fish in the sea, gather in La Paz Bay.
